Our motel has zen and has been kept to its original character since 1953. We all think of the place as a hidden retreat or get away from the hustle and bustle--a place to clear your mind and transport you to a simpler time. We dipped into our savings to keep this vintage motel ongoing, restored it, and have retained its inner and outer appearance for its historical charm. We updated furnishings, rehabitated but not remodeled per se. Built for the highway traveler, the motel offers boutique-style rooms on the Historic 395 Route. It features double rock-lathe (cement) walls skim-coated with plaster, granite counters, exquisitely tiled bathrooms, an extremely tranquil atmosphere, life-size dinosaurs, and a fruit-tree garden. The motel consists of six regular rooms and seven studio-kitchen units. Every unit is unique. Each studio-kitchen has a separated spacious and windowed full-kitchen room that is equipped with stove/oven, microwave, refrigerator, deep stainless steel sink, wall grundal, cabinets, and eating area. Some of the rooms playfully feature themes or homage to the Riverside Raceway and 1950s/70s era.
